The Question
For over 30 years, I’ve been driven by a question: Why are some individuals, leaders, and teams so much more effective than others? That question has shaped my career and inspired a lifelong pursuit of answers.
In my search, I earned a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, completed professional designations in project management and process improvement, and studied growth mindset at the University of Washington. I took courses on artificial intelligence and business process design from MIT, met with UC Berkeley professors in AI and robotics, and even sat down with innovators at Google X—their legendary “moonshot factory”—to understand how world-class thinkers approach challenges that many would consider impossible.
But I didn’t stop there. I put these ideas to the test—first on myself, then with my teams. The results were transformative. I discovered practical, repeatable principles that elevated performance, built trust, and accelerated leadership growth. These lessons reshaped not only how I lead, but how I live—and they changed the trajectory of my career.

For over 25 years, I've served in leadership roles in the insurance industry: from claims to project management, and from IT and strategy to director of marketing. For 12 years I served on the board of directors for the Washington Insurance Guaranty Association; six as chair. I've also spent decades working in non-profits with youth and young adults teaching and learning from tomorrow's leaders.
I began sharing what I’d learned with others in 2019. Since then, I’ve been invited to deliver keynote speeches at industry conferences, speak to executive teams, lead company-wide events, and appear on webinars and podcasts.
My message resonates because it’s real, tested, and focused on one thing: unlocking the potential that leaders and teams didn’t know they had.
Today, I help leaders and organizations learn how to aim higher, become more effective, and build cultures where people thrive. This isn’t just my work—it’s my mission.
